Western Nonwovens ("WNI") is a national producer of nonwoven textiles for the furniture, bedding, home furnishing, filtration, and apparel markets. Nonwovens are fabrics that are engineered to provide specific functionality such as absorbency, liquid repellency, resilience, stretch, softness, flame retardancy, washability, filtering, and sterility. In each of the regional markets the company serves, WNI is the market leader and sole-source provider on substantially all of its customers' nonwoven requirements because of the company's breadth of manufacturing technologies, product quality, service, and low cost position. Because of the strategic location of its eight manufacturing facilities, WNI is the only dedicated national producer of highloft and needlepunched nonwoven materials able to offer national sourcing plans for many of its customers.
