Mr. Myers is a member of Aurora's Executive Board. Mr. Myers was most recently President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Asset Management until his retirement in 2006. Mr. Myers is credited for leading the firm's transformation from GE's corporate pension office into a leader in third-party institutional asset management that grew from $50 billion to $200 billion in assets, including a significant amount of external capital. During his tenure with General Electric, more than 80% of GEAM's assets were internally managed with multi strategy capabilities and a significant focus on Alternatives. Mr. Myers received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Wagner College in 1967. He was then a Lieutenant in the US Navy and served two tours of duty in Vietnam as a Line Officer.
