Bill Midgette designed and implemented the product development and customization process that unlocked dramatic growth for Porex, and laid the groundwork for continued growth for many years to come.
Bill partnered with Aurora in 2009 to undertake a significant strategic repositioning of the business, including carving the Company out of HLTH/Web MD, acquiring Porex’s largest competitor, and divesting the Company’s surgical implant business to Stryker. In addition, Bill worked with Aurora to dramatically increase investment in sales & marketing, new product development, and engineering. In addition to the Aurora team, Bill partnered with independent directors Mike McLain and Paul Shelton.
