Eric Borland

CEO of Lubrication Engineers

Eric Borland started his career with Lubrication Engineers (“LE”) in 2008. During his tenure, Eric has overseen LE’s rapid growth and transformation from a lubricant manufacturer to a global supplier of holistic lubrication reliability solutions, including finished lubricants and asset reliability products and services. Prior to joining LE, Eric was CEO of Alpha Bio Systems. 

Eric’s commitment to cultivating rising talent within the organization and establishing new revenue channels has durably accelerated LE’s growth as his team is now trusted by more than 4,000 customers in over 60 countries to supply critical lubricants and lubrication reliability expertise. Eric is active within the lubricant industry, including with both NLGI and ILMA. 

Eric chose to partner with Aurora in 2023 to accelerate growth through new technology development, salesforce expansion, and add-on acquisitions. In addition to his team at Aurora, Eric has partnered with independent directors Mike McLain, Tesh Gor, and Bryan Carey.
